NYC DOB 4 HOUR SUPPORTED SCAFFOLD USER & REFRESHER

AS PER LOCAL LAW 52 OF 2005, THIS COURSE IS REQUIRED FOR ANY WORKER USING A SUPPORTED SCAFFOLD ON CONSTRUCTION SITES.

Course Description
This class will provide the scaffold user with the basic safety requirements to help in identifying the hazards associated with working on or around supported scaffolds. During the course, emphasis is placed on the role of the user in accident prevention which includes scaffold inspection, fall protection, falling object hazards, electrical hazards and responding to emergencies.

Learning Outcome
Upon completion of this class, users will be able to identify supported scaffold types and its major components, identify common supported scaffold safety hazards and protect themselves from supported scaffold hazards.
